Studio One represents the earliest spark in the story, the design and invention work that led to Bubbleject and the shift in thinking that followed

Studio One sits upstream of the machinery: exploring new ways of delivering injectables and challenging long held assumptions about how containers, devices, and manufacturing should interact. That work helped establish the mindset that runs through the Q-System today: simplify the pathway, reduce steps, and rethink the boundaries between product, device, and production.  Studio One is the origin chapter of a delivery device, Q1, and the moment when experimentation, curiosity, and invention begin the journey toward our repeatable manufacturing platform, the Q-System.

ApiLabs - UK & Australia provides the connective tissue between engineering, deployment, and real-world use of the Q-System. Their role is to translate the platform from a technical build into operational capability: coordinating partners, shaping regulatory pathways, and turning a concept into a working system then into something that can be deployed, supported, and repeated. They bridge strategy and execution, linking engineering in Melbourne, manufacturing technology from Germany, and the needs of partners across multiple regions with the steady work of turning a single installation into a repeatable global model.

Rommelag provides the production engine at the heart of the Q-System through its 500 Series Blow-Fill-Seal platforms - the machines that form, fill, and seal containers in a single sterile step and set the tempo for everything downstream. Their role in the partnership is foundational: we integrate around a proven upstream process so the rest of the system can focus on continuity, handling, and inspection without breaking sterility or flow.  Rommelag represents the analog reality and the lore - decades of BFS expertise translated into a machine that quietly does the same thing, the same way, every day. That reliability allows the Q-System to build outward with confidence: downstream automation becomes an extension of a trusted process rather than a reinvention of it, turning a globally proven technology into the starting point for a new, repeatable manufacturing architecture.

Automation Innovation is our on-the-ground engineering partner in Melbourne, taking Q3—the quality-control planar inspection table—from concept into a working, serviceable machine: the mechanics, fixturing, controls, and integration logic that let inspection happen fast, repeatably, and without fuss. Their value to us is that they don’t just “design parts”; they run the full automation lifecycle—specification, 3D design, build, functional test, install, and ongoing support—using simulation up front to de-risk performance before metal is cut.  In the language of the Arcade/SCAN signals, they’re our analog proof—real engineers, real hardware, real iteration—and they give us the lore we can actually show: quiet build moments, problems solved on the floor, and a QC module that feels inevitable because it’s engineered, tested, and refined in the open rather than over-produced for a camera.
